Our story
Alex and Natalie met in the Appalachian mountains of Western North Carolina and have expanded their family to include their four wonderful children. This was their inspiration for the name Four Seeds Farm. We hope to cultivate a loving and healthy environment for our children as they are our future.
Natalie has a passion for growing flowers. She started growing on a large scale in 2017, providing custom bouquets and floral arrangements for weddings. She loves the idea that her flowers will bring joy to people and be a source of happiness in her community. It also makes her happy knowing that she will be providing much needed food for pollinators as well as improve production in the vegetable garden.
Alex has been raising goats since 2012 and began targeted grazing shortly after that. He would use his goats to eliminate invasive species, clear land without the use of heavy machinery, and provide wild fire mitigation. He loves that goats can achieve all this without the need for fossil fuel consuming machinery or toxic herbicides that damage soil health and the environment. He then began raising sheep as he learned the health benefits grass fed lamb can provide. Rotationally grazed sheep managed with regenerative agricultural practices can not only heal the land they are raised on, but they provide a premium meat product rich nutrients that is lacking in todays grocery stores.
